Photo guide
Use any standard bank card from your wallet as a size reference. Use the Thumb method to hold it flat against the gravestone while keeping all four rounded corners visible.
IMPORTANT: Use 1× zoom when taking the photo. Do not use ultra-wide, telephoto, or digital zoom.
Thumb method
Press the card flat with your thumb
Place the card beside the lettering and press it firmly against the gravestone with the pad of your thumb.
- Keep the rest of your hand beside or behind the card.
- Do not cover any of the card’s four corners.
- Before taking the photo, check that the card is flat and every corner is clearly visible.
